We’re all imperfect humans, aren’t we? Of course we are. We know this, but we don’t like this. So, what do we do? We hide it and pretend we have it all together. And for what? Who does that help? Not you. Not me. Seems to me, we should all accept our imperfections the way that we accept them in those we love. We should own our brokenness and move in Love toward wholeness sans self judgement and sans toxic shame. Then we can realize that our imperfections are often just warped versions of our best and most endearing traits. I do love a good paradox. Through our brokenness we find our wholeness, and we are nearest to perfection when we accept that we will never be perfect. You, me, your mom and dad, your guy, your girl, the mail lady, and Tom in Omaha. ALL OF US. We’re Imperfect Humans. Spread the word.
